A Two Person Exhibition featuring the work of:
Jennifer Bobola – Topher Straus
October 19, 2018
6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
All Day I Dream is a two artist exhibition with a focus on Modern Art. Both artist use a very strong and bright palette. Bobola uses impasto technique and texture to create rhythmic, mid-century-esque paintings. Strausdigitally paints over photographs that he then prints on aluminum and sometimes adds paint to in an impasto style.
Jennifer Bobola – My paintings combine Abstract Expressionism and rhythmic line, creating unique textures. I use a thoughtful approach, allowing experimentation and improvisation to make my work more balanced and alive, while manipulating dimensions of color and shape.
Topher Straus – is a Denver born, New York trained multi-media artist, known for his raw playfulness and imaginative concepts.
My work is a deconstruction of reality that is layered with radical color combinations and bold texture. My style is unconventional, drawing on couches and painting on metal. My work is fun, fearless and full of rhythm.
Opening Reception will be on Third Friday, October 19th and the exhibition runs through Tuesday, November 6th.
Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., and by appointment. For additional information please contact Bill Thomason at firstname.lastname@example.org or (303) 862-9367.
