What an amazing ride 🙌! From meeting the bG Gallery team at Intersect Aspen this past summer, to being represented by them at Context Art Fair during Miami Art Week, to participating in the Test Pilot 2024 Show with bG Gallery in Santa Monica, CA!
The show opened this week, with a reception Saturday the 2nd from 5–8pm 🍾. If you happen to be in town, be sure to stop by!
One of the highlights is my brand-new painting, Cuyahoga National Park, never before seen in person. bG Gallery was drawn to it, so we fabricated and shipped it alongside The Grand Traverse, The Bells, and Godafoss — some of my personal favorites.
Featured Paintings
Cuyahoga National Park: Created during an emotional moment, this piece reflects tension and relief — jagged lines inspired by a personal scare, softened by healing. Located in Ohio, this park is one of the most visited in the nation.
The Grand Traverse: This vibrant scene from Piney Lake near Vail captures reflections of the Gore Range. I painted it to the rhythms of the Beatles, channeling the joy of a Colorado summer day.
Godafoss: This Icelandic waterfall, known as the “waterfall of the Gods,” inspired bold purples and flowing blues. The painting evokes its wild grace and spiritual calm.
The Bells: This vertical interpretation of Maroon Bells includes a single star in the sky — a tribute to a friend’s son lost on the peak. My earlier editions of this location have nearly sold out.
