Arizona Art: Canyon, Desert and the Open Road
Arizona
“There’s a wild beauty to the American Southwest—where the Arizona desert sky ignites at sunset, painting the mountains in vivid hues of violet and crimson.”
TOPHER STRAUS, ON 1962 FERRARI GT ON SR 88, APACHE TRAIL

Canyon, desert and the open road
Arizona holds some of the most dramatic land in the country. Grand Canyon National Park is about depth; Horseshoe Bend follows the Colorado River around the sandstone; Petrified Forest National Park finds color in trees turned to stone.
Near Tucson, Saguaro National Park stands among the desert giants, and on the Apache Trail east of Phoenix a red 1962 Ferrari runs into the sunset. Axiom Contemporary on Camelback Road represents Topher’s work.
