COLORADO NATIONAL PARKS
Four paintings, four very different Colorado national parks: Rocky Mountain, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Mesa Verde, and Great Sand Dunes.
I grew up in Colorado, and these parks remind me how many kinds of landscape one state can hold. Peaks, canyon walls, ancestral dwellings, and dunes each asked for a different way of using color, line, and space.
