WHY I RETURN
A place close to me
Maroon Bells is personal to me. My mom, my son, and I once biked up to the Maroon Bells together. She was 85, he was 14, and I was thrilled to have them both with me on that ride.
I go back whenever I have the chance. I’ve painted this Colorado landmark three times, and I anticipate painting it again. It’s one of the state’s most iconic places, and one that stays close to me.
