About Telluride
Telluride sits at the dead end of a box canyon in the San Juan Mountains, its Victorian main street a National Historic Landmark District; in 1889 Butch Cassidy robbed his first bank here. At the head of the canyon, Bridal Veil Falls is the tallest free-falling waterfall in Colorado, and a free public gondola links the old town to Mountain Village above it.
