Hawaii paintings by Topher Straus
Hawaii
Topher Straus paints Hawaii across three islands: Hanalei Bay on Kauai’s North Shore, the lava of Hawaiʻi Volcanoes on the Big Island, and the summit of Haleakalā on Maui.

“Hanalei is my favorite place to recharge. This view reminds me to slow down and soak in the vibrant serenity of life.”

About the three islands
Hanalei Bay is the wide crescent on Kauai’s North Shore, ringed by mountains and the taro fields of the Hanalei valley. On the Big Island, Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park protects Kīlauea and Mauna Loa, two of the most active volcanoes on Earth. On Maui, the summit of Haleakalā stands 10,023 feet above the sea, often above the clouds.
