From Zion’s river corridors to Bryce hoodoos and the carved desert of Arches and Canyonlands, these paintings follow Utah’s changing forms and light.
Zion was my first landscape painting. A friend asked me to paint a park he loved, and that challenge changed the direction of my work. I return to Utah’s parks for the same reason: each place asks for a different response in color and line.
